Presidents’ Message - March 2013

Hello Fellow Froggies!

It's been a great winter so far. March is here and we have some fun stuff planned this month. The Boston Sea Rovers is March 9th & 10th! I would like to thank everyone that is helping out with the booth display. It was really great that Vinny was able to obtain a free display for us! I hope to see everyone there to support the club at the show.

Mary and Ray are hosting a St. Patrick's Party for the Froggies at their house on Sat. March 16th! Start time 5PM. (See more info on page 3)

If the weather allows, we will have a pre-party dive to be determined.

Susan Copelas will be giving a presentation on diving in the Philippines on March 7th! I will be giving a brief presentation on March 21st on the many species of nudibranchs to be found on the Gloucester Breakwall.

Sunday April 24th, we will be joining the Finatics to dive the Breakwall for a Nudibranch Safari.

I would like to name Mary Howard as Diver of the Month and Ray Porter as member of the month! Mary & Ray have been so gracious to host a St. Patrick's Party event at their house for the Froggies. I would like to thank Mary for all of the time and work that she put in to publish our Air Bubbles newsletter. I would like to thank Ray for all the work he has been doing on updating our bylaws. Thanks for all your contributions to the club!

I look forward to seeing you all at the Sea Rovers show and hope you will join me for some nudibranch diving! March and April are great months for nudibranchs. I love nudis!

Happy diving! : )
