Frustration with Web Host Reaches Breaking Point

After having undergone a 2nd major problem with our web host in less than one year, we have decided that we will be changing our web hosting provider as soon as our current contract expires at the end of the summer. We have found service that is not only less expensive, but also offers, in our opinion, more email and other benefits than 1stchoiceinternational.com. Our users should not notice any interruption in service.

Dissatisfaction has been growing since August, and this past weekend's temporary disappearance of two weeks' work pretty much sealed the deal. Their excuse is that we were supposed to not change our web site for two weeks while they fiddled around - for the second time this year - with changes that resulted in no perceived benefit - but massive inconvenience - to us.

Losing our information about the Sea Rovers' raffle and the 50th Reunion at a critical time - even if only for a day - was beyond what we're willing to accept from a service that in this day and age should be as reliable as the TV or telephone.

Anyone considering a web hosting plan needs to look only casually to find reliable, less expensive alternatives to 1stchoiceinternational.com.
